Yes, I have pics of me in a swimsuit, but no, you will never see them. :P These are just a few highlights from the trip, mainly from Salem, the "Bridge of Flowers," and the family picnic. Aside from getting completely sunburnt, almost drowning, and eating nothing but junk food, the trip rocked. I loved Salem because it is both a historical site (points to History major), as well as a pagan mecca. I actually enjoyed the beach, although I'm sad I never got to fly my mighty pirate kite.
In other news, I am back at school now. Between being president of the anime society, studying the evil known as the "greek language," and dealing with twits, I think I will soon asplode. Seriously, how can they expect us to learn a language when the teacher can't speak it and the book was written by robotic monkeys?
The Gateway, however, is beautiful (as are my roommates). The only problems thusfar are the fact that the windows are crawling with spiders (hence why mine is shut and double-layered with curtains), and that the heat is non-existent at night. It's all worth it for the private bathroom, kitchen, and living room, though. I have a feeling we'll be putting the kitchen to good use, considering dining services shot itself over the summer.
